Our Aims & Objectives

We aim to provide our Service User’s with a comprehensive service of care of the highest quality within their own homes.

We strive to offer a flexible, efficient and professional service that is tailored to meet the needs of the individual.

We will treat each Service User with respect and remain sensitive to his / her individual needs and abilities, and aim to promote the Service User’s independence and personal dignity

The quality of our service to you

We will always seek to ensure that you receive the best possible care. Our Home Care Manager will undertake regular quality assurance visits and quality control checks. These visits enable us to improve our services as required, by acting upon your feedback. You will have the opportunity to talk with our Home Care Manager and have a friend or relative present if you require. You may also contact the Home Care Manager at any time to discuss your requirements by calling us on our office number 0114 2485658.

At least once a year, you will be offered a questionnaire asking you to record your satisfaction or otherwise with the care you are receiving from us. The result of the survey will be collated and presented to the senior management team.

The Home Care Manager will also undertake a quality control check on all care workers. This involves visiting and assessing care workers whilst they are on duty to monitor the care we deliver. We are committed to a quality culture and you can be assured that any information that is recorded as part of our quality assurance process will be treated with the utmost privacy.

Your Care workers

We recognise that your carer is somebody with whom you can form a special relationship, and for this reason we take great care in selecting a staff member with whom you feel completely comfortable. Each carer undergoes continuous training that ensures that we deliver the highest quality services to you. This training includes Induction, First Aid, Health & Safety, Nutrition and Food Hygiene, Moving & Handling, Safeguarding Adults, Administration of Medication and other specialised training to meet the diverse needs of the individual. All of our staff undertake the National Vocational Qualification to at least level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Care Plans and Records of the delivery of your care

The service to be provided by the company will vary depending on the needs of each service user. A senior member of the care team will visit to do a home assessment.

The Care Plan, or Service User Plan, is the key document for your care. We will have assessed areas of risk and identified your needs, and this is recorded on your Care Plan. We then decide how our staff can meet these needs, and this forms your plan of care.

Care planning is continuously reviewed because people’s needs change, sometimes on a daily basis, and we have to respond to these changes to make sure that we’re delivering the right care. We will always seek your opinions and input when developing the Care Plan, and making changes or amendments to it, to ensure that you are fully satisfied with the care you receive from us. The service user care plan shows the service purchased by you. The care plan to be implemented will be explained to the Care Worker(s) who will report to the company any changes required. The company will then discuss this with you and your family or friends.

The company recognises the right for service user’s to make choices about the way their service is delivered. We are aware that we are guests within your home and that your rights must be respected at all times. We also recognise the value in involving your family members, relatives and friends in your Care Plan, and we will always (with your permission) invite your family or friends to participate in the care planning process.
